Primitive Reason Some of Us… JahNotion The beginning is that of the lead singer speaking of his day. It is poetry, simple but eloquent. The music is beautiful with brass instruments, simple drums, and more complicated bongos. The rhythms are wonderful, and the pace changes with the chorus. A cymbal is the only sound besides the singer's poetry near the end of the first song, which repeats much of what was already said, so as to make a solid circle in the music. Much of their music is original, something you would be able to distinguish as purely their own, with influences ranging from East Indian, to modern day hard rock. If you are into diversity-rich music, I recommend Primitive Reason. - Brooke Haley
